NFL Preseaon Begins

Well the NFL season began last night (aside from the Hall of Fame game last weekend) and some old faces appeared to not have missed a step (no pun intended regarding Tom Brady). Tom Brady returned to action last night and appeared to be in mid-season form. He threw 2 touchdowns and one pick. The one pick was a jump ball to Randy Moss who got tangled up with the defender. Moss finished with 3 catches for 53 yards Brady finished 10-15 for 100 yards in a half game of work. Both touchdowns were thrown to Brady's big TE, Chris Baker. Baker finished with 3 catches for 22 yards. After the interception Brady showed visable frustration indicating his desire for perfection as this is just the preseason. Look for Brady to rebound after last season's injury and have a huge season. New England was playing against Donovon McNabb and the Eagles. McNabb finished the game 11-18 for 103 yards with no interceptions and no touchdowns. The real bright spot for the Eagles continues to be RB Lesean McCoy the 53rd overall pick in the draft. Lesean, possibly the most talented back in the draft, showed the explosion he displayed in training camp and ended the day with 10 carries 55 yards. If Westbrook goes down, look for McCoy to make an impact. New England beat Philly 27-25.
